Festival Info

Food and Beverage

The Hamilton Arts Festival Toi Ora ki Kirikiriroa takes pride in being a relaxed whaanau-friendly event which encourages and monitors the responsible use of alcohol. Unless indicated otherwise within the event listing, HAF events are strictly no BYO alcohol.

Thanks to Montana Food & Events, there will be a selection of food and drinks available for purchase at the festival from 5pm until close every night. We invite you to come and enjoy a meal with us at the Festival Hub while taking in the free live entertainment from the The Festival Hub Grassroots Trust Stage (Turtle Lake Stage).

Wet Weather

Wet weather venues are in place for events where possible.

Please check the event page on our website or social media channels for weather-related updates and information closer to the time. As most festival events take place outside, please do come prepared for all possible weather situations.

Sound Bleeds

Some performances may experience a degree of sound bleed from other festival events taking place nearby.

While we do our best to mitigate this, in some cases it is unavoidable in an outdoor setting and we unfortunately can not issue refunds to audience members for sound bleeds.

Seating

All shows are seated unless BYO seating is indicated. Please refer to specific shows for more information.

We ask that you respect other audience members by bringing blankets or low festival seating so as not to block anyone’s views. Alternatively, position your seats to either-side of the lawn.
